Copenhagen has become a bit more queer
One week of festival is over but the queer vibes seem to linger in the city still. Huge thanx to all the activists and participants who made this first Copenhagen Queer Festival happen, there's something for us all to be proud of. Both the art exhibition, the workshops and excursions were popular as well as the music and performance night programs. During the week we had an average of 200 guests every day and the party on Saturday drew a 1000 people.
So will there be a festival 2007? That depends on a lot of things at the moment but it's safe to say that we got off to a good start in 2006...
